Job Description

  • Creation and prototyping of gameplay ideas for core combat and moment-to-moment mechanics, base and instantaneous systems, combat characters, their feel, behavior, abilities, and encounters in various contexts.
  • Implementation of combatant characters with animations and behavior using state machines, behavior trees, visual effects, sound effects, and arena-based encounters with pacing using level design tools and other scripting systems.
  • Creating design documents, content briefs, system outlines, and other means of sharing all necessary information with involved teams.
  • Collaborating with multiple disciplines, ensuring the right partners are involved and informed throughout the development process.
  • Staying current on industry trends, including new game genres, design methods and techniques, and advances in audiovisual excellence.
  • Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and initiative, and help shape the goals of the combat design team.
  • Creating, pitching, and prototyping gameplay ideas for core combat and moment-to-moment mechanics and systems, combat characters, their feel, behavior, abilities, and encounters in various settings.
  • Implementing combatant character with animations and behavior using state machines, behavior trees, visual effects, sound effects, and arena layouts with pacing using provided level design tools and scripting systems.
  • Creating design documents, content briefs, system outlines, and other means of sharing information with involved teams.
  • Collaborating across disciplines to ensure the right partners are involved and informed throughout development.
  • Remaining current on industry trends, including new game genres, design methods and techniques, and trends in audiovisual quality.

Qualifications

  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience dans la production de jeux AAA pour consoles et PC.
  • Au moins deux ans d'expérience dans la commercialisation de jeux de combat rapproché à la troisième personne, dans des rôles liés à l'intelligence artificielle, au combat ou à la conception de systèmes.
  • Maîtrise d'au moins un éditeur de jeux ; une expérience avec plusieurs moteurs est appréciée.
  • Capacité exceptionnelle à conceptualiser, présenter et mettre en place des systèmes et des fonctionnalités de jeu à l'aide de divers outils, technologies et langages visuels.
  • Compréhension claire des processus créatifs et de développement de jeux.
  • Excellent es aptitudes à la communication orale et écrite en anglais.
  • Succès avérés dans la création de jouabilité, de scénarios et de rencontres captivants et amusants.
  • Motivé, travailleur acharné, doté d'un esprit d'équipe et disposé à donner et à recevoir des retours et des critiques.
