Intermediate Financial Analyst to coordinate, prepare and deliver financial reporting and analysis billing

Our valued telecommunications client is seeking a Intermediate Financial Analyst to coordinate, prepare and deliver financial reporting and analysis for a new billing platform!

6-month contract in Montreal, QC (3 days/week on-site). 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday.

As the successful candidate you will establish the bank reconciliation practice with the new billing system that will be implemented. You will work with the project team to understand the available data sources and set up the processes, and maintain them until automation is completed. You will also participate in working sessions related to automation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the coordination, preparing and delivery of financial reporting and analysis.
• Responsible for the preparation of journal entries and maintenance of accounting records.
• Assist with the co-ordination of month end close activity.
• Responsible for the timely completion of complex account analysis and reconciliations.
• Prepare operating expense variance analysis.
• Maintain appropriate controls for financial reporting.

Must-have Skills

• Accounting designation (
  CGA, CA, CPA, CMA ) with 5+ years experience in an accounting environment
• Strong expertise supporting financial reporting and analysis for financial Systems (e.g.
  billing systems )
