In tax accounting services at PwC, you will assist businesses in preparing and reviewing tax provisions, tax returns, and financial statements, confirming compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.

  • Completion of Levels I, II and III of the CPA In-depth Tax Course would be an asset but not necessary

  • Experience in a public accountant firm

  • Canadian CPA designation

  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Entities (ASPE), CSRS 4200 Compilation engagements, CSRE 2400 Review engagements, Canadian Audit Standards

  • Strong communication, and facilitator skills withdemonstratedability to work with multiple personalities

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, listening and coaching skills

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments in an organized manner

  • Strong analytical capability, sound businesssenseand creative mind that have earned you a reputation of providing excellence in client service

  • The successful candidaterequiresfluency in English, in addition to French as they willbe requiredto support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholdersduring the course oftheir employment with PwC Canada

    The salary range for this position is $97,800 - $147,800.The posted salary rangerepresentsthe expected hiring range for PwC locations in major citycentres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary isdeterminedby your skills, experience,qualificationsand work  addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities toparticipatein variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
