We're looking for a Lead Unix/Linux Engineer who will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our Unix/Linux environment. This includes vulnerability remediation, system maintenance, and high-level support (L2/L3). You will work closely with vendors, manage security projects, and help shape our Unix systems roadmap.

• Handle vulnerability remediation and system patching.
• Install and configure Linux/Solaris systems.
• Maintain and improve configuration management tools.
• Monitor system performance and maintain security & backups.
• Manage asset inventory and remediate Tenable scan results.
• Design and implement Unix/Linux architecture and tools.
• Lead projects involving Cybersecurity tools and infrastructure.
• Provide 2nd/3rd level support for server issues (P1/P2/P3 incidents).
• Collaborate with internal and third-party teams for change management.
• Guide and support junior team members.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years working with Linux & Solaris systems.
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Solaris servers in virtual environments.
• Familiarity with HPE & Oracle (SPARC) hardware.
• Strong scripting skills in Linux/Solaris.
• Experience with network tools like iptables, LINUX IPVS, Solaris IPMP.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident, change, request).
• Understanding of virtualization technologies like Client Simpli Vity.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite, Centrify, Cyber Ark, Client OBM, RSA SOC tools.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAN/NAS storage.
• Prior work in financial services or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with METIS (CMDB, request/change tracking).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Involvement in high-priority incidents (P1/P2).
