Cloud Security Engineer

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with multi-cloud expertise to design, deploy, and manage security controls across Azure, AWS, and GCP. This role focuses on implementing and improving detective and responsive security controls, ensuring compliance, and working across globally distributed teams to strengthen the organization’s cloud security posture.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and deploy cloud security controls across Azure, AWS, and GCP via third-party SaaS platforms
• Evaluate security requirements and implement detective controls across CSPs
• Collaborate with vendors and internal squads for cloud security service deployment
• Generate compliance and drift management reports
• Coordinate with resource owners to remediate configuration drifts
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for security tools and processes
• Research and implement new cloud security technologies
• Configure and deploy compliant infrastructure and services across cloud platforms
• Troubleshoot and fix issues within owned or managed security tools
• Partner with Risk, Architecture, and Incident Response teams to validate cloud security controls
• Work with globally distributed teams to deliver robust cloud security solutions

• Deep knowledge of at least one cloud provider:
  Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Strong understanding of the Shared Responsibility Model and cloud security risks
• Experience developing detect & respond controls across cloud environments
• Expertise with native CSP security tooling
• Proficient in Dev Ops and Secure SDLC practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Skilled in scripting languages (Power Shell, Python, Bash)
• Strong documentation and technical architecture writing skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Background in IT Service Management
• Ability to communicate technical content to non-technical stakeholders

• Familiarity with CSPM and SaaS security solutions
• Experience with OPA/REGO policy-as-code
• Agile methodology knowledge
• Understanding of cloud logging/data pipelines
• Financial industry experience
• Security certifications: CISSP, GIAC, CISM, OSCP
• Cloud certifications:
  Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Familiarity with governance/risk/cybersecurity frameworks (NIST CSF, COBIT 5, ISO 27001/2, ITIL)
• Hands-on with tools like Azure Monitor, AWS Config, VPC Service Controls, Security Command Center
• Experience with configuration and patch management tools

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
