Position: Intern, AI and Data - Procurement & Supply Management Performance
Location: MontrealJob Summary The Intern, AI and Data - Procurement & Supply Management Performance is responsible for drivingimprovement in Procurement & Supply Management (P&SM) by evaluating, planning and implementing improvements in processes, data analysis and practices, as well as facilitating and coaching improvement teams within work units. The incumbent works with the P&SM groups to will support the identification, prioritization, and delivery of Artificial Intelligence (AI) use cases aimed at enhancing procurement performance and operational efficiency.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, analyzing data, and contributing to the development of innovative solutions using AI technologies. In addition, the role involves a substantial communication and stakeholder management component including working closely with Senior Management.
Major Responsibilities
Support the use cases requirements for P&SM across various areas including process automation opportunities and AI application delivering value to CNMaintain the pipeline of AI use cases and status of implementation in adherence to P&SM’s AI strategic roadmap. Provide regular updates to P&SM leadership and different stakeholders involved in the projects.Assist the Performance team in defining the data strategy to enable the different use case and the overall AI roadmap. Perform assessments utilizing analytical skills to identify process improvement opportunities, automation and AI applications.Work cross-functionally to design new processes and present business requirements based on process knowledge for technology implementationsIntroduce and sustain change across multiple initiatives in both the business and technology areas using a variety of change management and communication techniquesPrepare supporting documents and materials for discussions with key stakeholdersRequirements
Proficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of process mapping techniquesStrong knowledge of AI technologies and related data straegyBe an analytical thinker as well as business and technology savvyStrong communication skills both written and oralAct as a change agent to promote new ideas, processes, and toolsBe agile and capable of supporting multiple teamsKnowledge of systems such as Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP), Tableau, Power BI, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Fieldglass and Ariba*Fluently bilingual, both written and verbal (English, French)*Knowledge of Indigenous landscape and culture*Education
Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
