We are seeking an IT Support Intern to provide technical assistance and contribute to the maintenance of IT systems and user equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, user support, and IT operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and IT systems, responding to user inquiries in person or by phone.
Analyze, prioritize, and resolve or escalate service requests and incidents.
Track and document support interactions, including issues and solutions.
Set up and maintain user workstations, including hardware installation, software deployment, and regular updates.
Assist with onboarding by preparing and configuring equipment and tools for new users.
Support the deployment of new software, tools, and IT equipment.
Collaborate on IT projects and share new troubleshooting methods with the team.
The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a CEGEP program in information technology, computer science, or related program.
Strong interest in IT support and technology.
Familiarity with remote access tools, including Team Viewer, Go To Assist and ITSM platforms, including Jira and Remedy, is an asset.
Experience with PC and Apple hardware.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.
Organized, autonomous, and collaborative mindset.
