We are seeking an IT Support Intern to provide technical assistance and contribute to the maintenance of IT systems and user equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, user support, and IT operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, and IT systems, responding to user inquiries in person or by phone.

  • Analyze, prioritize, and resolve or escalate service requests and incidents.

  • Track and document support interactions, including issues and solutions.

  • Set up and maintain user workstations, including hardware installation, software deployment, and regular updates.

  • Assist with onboarding by preparing and configuring equipment and tools for new users.

  • Support the deployment of new software, tools, and IT equipment.

  • Collaborate on IT projects and share new troubleshooting methods with the team.

  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.

  • Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a CEGEP program in information technology, computer science, or related program.

  • Strong interest in IT support and technology.

  • Familiarity with remote access tools, including Team Viewer, Go To Assist  and ITSM platforms, including Jira and Remedy, is an asset.

  • Experience with PC and Apple hardware.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Teams.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.

  • Organized, autonomous, and collaborative mindset.
