We are seekinga Compliance Intern to support our HR department’s efforts in ensuring that all employees have access to the right information at the right time in the simplest way possible. This isa great opportunityto be part of a dynamic team and contribute to fostering ethical practices.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain organized records of compliance-related materials, including policies, procedures, training content, and audit documentation.

  • Support internal and external audits by coordinating with audit teams, tracking findings, andassistingwith corrective actions.

  • Prepare reports on compliance activities and key metrics,identifyingpotential risks.

  • Assistin assessing compliance risks and collaborating with departments on mitigation strategies.

  • Contribute to investigations of compliance issues under the Compliance Manager’s direction.

  • Support the development and rollout of compliance policies, procedures, and employee training.

  • Stay current on relevant regulations and industry standards and help ensure organizational adherence.

  • Foster a culture of compliance through communication and awareness initiatives.

  • The role involves daily (or regular) communication with pan-Canadian stakeholders.

  • Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, HR, legal studies, or a related field.

  • Interest in compliance, including regulatory and legal affairs

  • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards is a plus.

  • Proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

  • Strong communicationskills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships
