Your Role at Safely You

As a Technical Product Manager at Safely You, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our product portfolio. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from gathering requirements to product delivery and adoption. The focus will be on technical-leaning projects - Hardware/IoT, Fleet Management, Networking/Monitoring, Internal systems. Your technical expertise, strong relationship-building skills, and project management abilities will be essential in achieving our growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy and Planning

• Support the Product team and stakeholders in defining the product vision, goals, and roadmap aligned with business objectives
• Analyze customer/internal needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape to inform product strategy
• Prioritize features and enhancements using data-driven insights and business impact

Requirement Gathering and Analysis

• Conduct research to identify internal and external customer and market requirements
• Translate needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align requirements with technical and operational feasibility

Agile Project Management

• Act as the voice of the customer, converting feedback into actionable user stories and product features
• Own and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing based on business value and customer impact
• Partner with Scrum Masters and Technical Leads to plan and execute successful sprints
• Assume the Product Owner role for the Fleet and hardware teams ensuring specifications are “ready” and milestones are met
• Monitor progress, identify risks early, and work to resolve blockers
• Continuously gather feedback to iterate on product features and improve quality and satisfaction

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, marketing, and operations
• Communicate product updates, milestones, and progress clearly to ensure alignment and transparency
• Collaborate with customer success to gather insights and identify improvement opportunities

Product Launch and Adoption

• Contribute to the development and execution of go-to-market plans in coordination with marketing and sales
• Support onboarding, training, and adoption efforts in collaboration with customer success
• Track product usage and engagement metrics, and lead initiatives to improve adoption and overall product value
