Work with the engineering team to put in place the project’s UI toolkit.
Develop widgets that will allow UI artists to quickly iterate on UI features.
Prototype new widgets that are not part of the toolkit through scripting.
Leverage telemetry data to continuously improve UI quality and performance.
Contribute to the development of the necessary skills within the team and evangelize best practices inside the studio.
What you must have:
5+ years of relevant experience
Shipped at least one AAA console game
Understand graphical parameters related to UI, such as resolution, scale, and aspect ratio.
Scripting knowledge
Good communication with both technical and non-technical team members
Self-motivated with a strong collaborative and teamwork oriented mindset.
Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Good understanding of UX Preferred Qualifications
Shipped UI content in a 60fps game.
Strong expertise of Unreal Engine
Familiarity with Sony’s Play Station console/tools
