Senior Facilities Manager

Can you lead facilities operations across a national portfolio, build trusted client relationships and step into a senior leadership role when needed?

We are conducting a confidential search for a Senior Facility Manager to support a major banking portfolio spanning retail locations across Canada.

You will act as the National Director of Operations’ second-in-command, providing leadership and cover from day one. For the right person, there is potential to move into the Director position in as little as six months, subject to readiness and business requirements.

The opportunity:

This is a substantial national account with high service expectations. You will work closely with the National Director, regional facilities teams and senior client stakeholders to deliver consistent performance across the portfolio.

You will need to understand what is happening at property level while keeping the wider account priorities in view. Strong relationships, sound judgment and a customer-focused approach will be central to your success.

What you will do:

• Support facilities operations across a national retail banking portfolio.
• Act as the National Director’s second-in-command, stepping in as required.
• Work with regional teams and Facility Managers to maintain consistent service delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Identify operational risks, resolve service issues and drive improvements.
• Coordinate teams across regions and ensure commitments are delivered.
• Develop the account knowledge and relationships needed for broader national leadership.

What you bring:

• Strong facilities management leadership experience across multiple locations, ideally at a regional or national level.
• Experience coordinating geographically dispersed teams and managing client relationships.
• The confidence and judgment to support and deputize for a National Director.
• A track record of delivering responsive, high-quality service.
• The ability to balance operational priorities, team performance and client expectations.
• Clear communication, accountability and sound decision-making under pressure.

Experience supporting banking or other demanding client environments would be valuable.
