Assembler​/Material Handler

We are currently recruiting for a permanent position within the manufacturing & logistics sector for one of our premier clients. As an Assembly Operator, you will play a pivotal role by combining technical mounting tasks with crucial supply chain responsibilities. This Assembly Operator position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks, ranging from precise measuring to managing shipments and unloading procedures.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling components according to technical specifications.

• Handling repetitive manual tasks, including lifting requirements.

• Consolidating and coordinating loads to optimize shipping space.

• Receiving and delivering incoming and outgoing warehouse goods.

• Loading trucks once orders are complete and performing unloading tasks.
• Operating cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts/dollies.

• Visually checking, inspecting, locating, and labeling all orders with precision.

• Data entry of all orders into the company’s computer system.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading a measuring tape using the Imperial system.

• Proven proficiency with the use of power and hand tools.

• Basic computer skills for accurate data entry.

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Great interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
