At Smart Cookie Wifi , our mission is simple: to keep kids engaged in learning and self-motivated to pursue ongoing education. We accomplish this through an innovative approach to parental controls that uses kids’ desire to access online entertainment to drive their learning.

Smart Cookie Wifi  is a privately funded US/Canadian company currently hiring remote talents to develop its mobile app.

Responsibilities:

• Participating in architectural discussions for new applications
• Contributing to the Flutter development team to deliver high-quality applications
• Writing code using best practices, considering security and performance
• Participating in sprint planning and task estimation, taking part in crafting stories/requirements
• Collaborating closely with the UX/UI designers, PMs, QAs, and other developers
• Communicating with main stakeholders and customers

Requirements:

• At least one year of experience with Flutter
• Familiar with widget state management
• Firebase integration (authentication and real-time)
• Understanding of how to debug Flutter application
• Set up CI/CD for Flutter project using Git Hub
• 3+ years of experience in iOS or Android Development
• Strong knowledge of Dart, Swift or Kotlin
• Experience with performance tuning
• Experience with publishing Android or iOS applications
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle
• Experience with Agile Scrum Methodology or Kanban
• Graduated with a degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Portfolio with released applications
• Samples of source code on Flutter
