Location: Montreal
We are seeking an experienced UI Developer with strong Actimize Act One expertise to join the Financial Crimes team. The ideal candidate has 5+ years working with the Act One platform, building and enhancing UI components, and supporting end-to-end SDLC activities. A solid Java background and strong SQL skills are required.
In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize user interfaces that support financial crime detection and case‑management workflows. You’ll partner closely with compliance, risk, and technology teams to deliver solutions that meet regulatory requirements and enhance analyst productivity. The right candidate is a clear communicator, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment. Experience in financial services is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
- Actimize Act One platform (UI customization, workflows, case management)
- Java (core development, debugging, integration)
- JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Angular or React (for Act One UI extensions)
- JSP / Servlets (legacy Actimize components)
- RESTful APIs
- SQL (strong querying, analysis, optimization)
- XML / JSON
- Actimize AIS and RCM experience (nice to have)
- Data modeling and data mapping
- Git / Bitbucket
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
- Agile tools such as JIRA
- Unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Jasmine, Karma)
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $35.50/hour - $55.47/hour.
