Full Time, Salary Range: $25.00 - $40.00 Hourly, HVAC Installer in a Nutshell
The Installer will install HVAC equipment into residential customer’s homes. This includes equipment such as: furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers and other related components.
What You’ll Be Doing- Install HVAC equipment into residential customer homes
- Troubleshoot equipment installation, start-up, operation and other issues
- Install flex and sheet metal duct systems in residential buildings
- Ensure functionality of thermostats to control HVAC system is operational
- Load all necessary materials and equipment required for each job into company vehicle
- Follow all safety and training per company policy and procedure
- Ensure that company vehicle is maintained and in operating order
- Participate and attend all required employee meetings and trainings
- Other duties as assigned
- 4-5 years of HVAC experience
- Must have a valid EPA certification
- Ability to measure ductwork and install all equipment and accessories
- Test and braze line sets, evacuate and charge systems
- Ability to complete simple low and high voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers and air conditioners
- Must be able to lift 100lbs
- Comfortable working from ladders that are 28’ and possibly higher
- Excellent customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoor in the elements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have valid driver license and insurable driving record
