From substations and grid infrastructure to renewable energy facilities, you’ll take a lead role in delivering cutting‑edge solutions for the power and energy sector. And it doesn’t stop there—you’ll also work on industrial, defence, and transportation projects, giving you variety, challenge, and the chance to make a real impact.
What You’ll Do- Engineer the structural elements that power the nation—design, specify, and deliver with precision.
- Produce high-quality drawings, specifications, and reports that set the standard in the industry.
- Collaborate with expert multi‑disciplinary teams to create safe, sustainable, and future‑ready solutions.
- Review designs, calculations, and supplier submissions to ensure technical excellence and compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the knowledge base of an industry‑leading team.
- Degree‑qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Experience in any of our key sectors—power project experience is a big plus.
- Progressing towards Chartered or Incorporated status (ICE or IStruct
E). - Skilled in structural analysis software (Master Series, STAAD, Tedds or similar).
- Strong grasp of Eurocodes, British Standards, and CDM regulations.
- A natural collaborator who thrives in a team environment.
- Eligibility for security clearance (essential for certain projects).
