July/August About the Project Our client has secured a new school development near Eastleigh and is seeking an experienced Lead Site Manager to oversee a £3 million project. This will commence in December and run through to summer next year, requiring a manager with a proven track record of managing projects from groundwork to final handover.

Key Responsibilities Plan and manage daily site operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely progress. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries to meet project schedules. Monitor health and safety compliance and enforce site safety standards. Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications and building regulations. Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, permits, and inspections. Resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, and project managers. Manage budgets and resources to keep the project within financial targets. Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks for all personnel. Oversee snagging and handover process at project completion. Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on similar-scale projects (£2m–£5m). Valid SMSTS and DBS certifications. Ability to work independently and manage multiple trades effectively.
