• Minimum of 5 to 8 years work experience in the field of Advanced Process Control
• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Master’s degree is preferable.
• Ability to identify the potential areas and benefits for applying Advanced Process Control for various process units and specify the hardware/software architecture to carry out APC implementation.
• Carry out APC & MVC implementations starting from Control Definition, Functional Design Specifications, Plant Testing, Detailed Engineering, Modeling of Controller and Estimator, Site Integration, SAT, Commissioning, Post Audit and PGTR.
• Hands on experience for commissioning APC Controllers in Refining, Petrochemical and Polymer process units.
• Provide maintenance support including carrying out modifications to the Control strategies to ensure higher APC up time and carry out the required APC training to plant operators & engineers.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
