Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Designer - Solar Plants. The designer will be responsible for creating technical designs and layouts for solar power systems, conducting site assessments, and optimizing system designs to maximize efficiency. Core activities include preparing CAD drawings, coordinating with the engineering and installation teams, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulations.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of solar projects.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in design software tools such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and other relevant software
- Understanding of Solar PV system components, layouts, and electrical designs
- Experience in site audits and data analysis for solar rooftop solutions
- Knowledge of technical standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements for solar energy projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, project management, and installation teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field
- Prior experience in solar energy projects is highly desirable
