Position Overview
The Business Head – Paediatric & Diabetes Division will join the leadership team, reporting directly to the COO . This role carries full P&L accountability and is responsible for driving strategic and operational performance, ensuring the division's continued growth, profitability, and market leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full P&L management for the division, ensuring revenue growth and profitability.
Develop and execute annual business plans aligned with organizational goals and financial targets.
Formulate and implement strategic initiatives to enhance market share in the Paediatric & Diabetes therapy segment.
Identify market trends, competitive intelligence, and new opportunities for expansion.
Drive comprehensive business development plans, including market analysis and product positioning.
Oversee the full product life cycle from conceptualization to commercialization in collaboration with R&D, regulatory, and marketing teams.
Implement market penetration strategies to expand reach and strengthen partnerships with healthcare stakeholders.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed annual revenue targets.
Ensure full regulatory compliance across all product lines and markets.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Experience:
12–15 years of progressive leadership experience in the pharmaceutical industry, focused on Paediatric & Diabetes therapy products.
Leadership:
Proven success managing P&L for a division or business unit with revenues of Rs 250–400 crores or more.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of the Indian pharmaceutical market, regulatory landscape, and healthcare trends.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities with a strategic and growth-oriented mindset.
