Quickbase Developer

Job position: Lead Developer / Designer - Quickbase Application

Location: Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, and Bangalore

We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer/Designer to drive the design, development, and delivery of custom Quickbase applications for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will combine deep Quickbase technical expertise with strong leadership and project management skills, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to business needs.

Application Design & Development

• Lead the design and build of custom Quickbase applications to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and convert requirements into clear technical specifications.
• Architect solutions that are scalable, maintainable, secure, and follow Quickbase best practices.
• Review existing Quickbase implementations and provide practical recommendations for improvement, optimization, and refactoring.

Project Management & Leadership

• Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and report status to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (IT, business analysts, QA, integration partners) to ensure smooth deployment and integration.
• Lead code and configuration reviews; provide constructive, actionable feedback to improve quality and performance.
• Facilitate team meetings, design sessions, and stakeholder workshops to drive alignment and progress.

Technical Expertise & Support

• Stay current with Quickbase platform enhancements, APIs, and ecosystem tools; evaluate and propose new capabilities to improve solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues quickly to minimize downtime and business impact.
• Produce and maintain clear documentation for application architecture, data models, workflows, integrations, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing Quickbase applications.
• Preferred:10+ years of overall software development or technical leadership experience, especially in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading development teams and managing project delivery.
• Proven track record of designing and delivering Quickbase solutions for enterprise clients (experience with two or more large enterprise clients preferred).

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Quickbase platform capabilities, including formula fields, pipelines, custom scripting, and API integrations.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and data modeling principles.
• Comfortable with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with RESTful services and integrating with external systems.
• Experience integrating with Oracle Fusion Cloud is a plus.
