Role Summary

Own how AI outputs are surfaced, constrained, and trusted within the mobile application. This role ensures that intelligence improves decisions without introducing unsafe automation or false confidence.

Responsibilities

AI Output Integration

• Translate AI outputs into user-visible actions and recommendations.
• Implement confidence thresholds and explicit refusal or no-advice states.
• Prevent raw or ambiguous outputs from being misinterpreted.

Explainability & Trust

• Design explanations that communicate both recommendation and uncertainty.
• Ensure consistency between AI output, explanation, and user action.

Degraded & Failure Modes

• Handle latency, offline conditions, and dependency failures gracefully.
• Ensure predictable behaviour when AI services are unavailable.

Safety & Guardrails

• Enforce deterministic rules that override probabilistic outputs when required.
• Prevent autonomous AI-driven actions without explicit user confirmation.

Tools & Technologies

• API-based inference integrations
• On-device or remote inference systems (as currently used)
