Role & Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end lifecycle of network infrastructure including code upgrades, firmware patching, and hardware replacements for Cisco ACI, Nexus, and related DC devices.
Perform ACI fabric upgrades in multi-pod and multi-site environments; validate fabric policies, tenant configurations, and ensure seamless post-upgrade operations.
Plan and execute hardware replacement activities, including pre-upgrade checks, backups, compatibility validation, testing, and rollback procedures.
Handle code upgrades and replacements for routers and switches running BGP, OSPF, MPLS VPNs, QOS, Multicasting, VPWS, and other L2/L3 protocols.
Configure and manage Cisco Nexus switches (9K/7K/5K/2K) including VXLAN EVPN, vPC, FEX, and spine-leaf topologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to configuration compatibility, protocol mismatches, and post-upgrade stability.
Monitor network performance, availability, and redundancy using network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
Maintain change management documentation, compliance reports, and lifecycle management strategies.
Ensure security compliance and policy enforcement across the ACI fabric.
Collaborate with internal teams for network optimization and automation using tools such as Ansible or Python.
