As the Product Manager for the risk data aggregation and reporting platform, you will own the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery of platform capabilities that support regulatory and internal risk reporting. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across risk, compliance, data governance, technology, and business teams to ensure the platform addresses regulatory requirements and risk data management needs.
This role will focus on championing data quality, lineage, aggregation, controls, and automation while embedding scalability, sustainability, and auditability into platform design and delivery.
Responsibilities
Define and manage platform vision, roadmap, and success criteria aligned to regulatory principles such as BCBS 239.
Translate regulatory and stakeholder requirements into actionable product features and capabilities.
Partner with teams across Risk, Compliance, Technology, and Data Governance to drive transparency, data lineage, controls, and automation enablement.
Define and track platform product metrics focused on completeness, adaptability, timeliness, accuracy, and auditability.
Prioritize platform backlogs and manage delivery milestones in collaboration with engineering and architecture teams.
Develop KPIs and dashboards to monitor platform performance and data quality.
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on regulatory expectations around risk data aggregation and reporting.
Required Skillset
8+ years of experience in product management for risk data, risk reporting, or regulatory reporting platforms within financial services.
Strong understanding of BCBS 239 principles and regulatory expectations for risk data aggregation.
Proven experience working with risk reporting systems, data warehouses, data lineage platforms, and governance tools.
Familiarity with data quality frameworks, metadata management, and risk data aggregation methodologies.
Track record of defining product roadmaps for complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Proficiency in Agile delivery methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate business needs into clear product features.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or Risk Management (advanced degree preferred).
