Principal Associate - Direct Tax

Hiring for a  Principal Associate  in Direct Tax team at Mumbai location

Key Accountabilities:

To increase the global footprint of LKS Direct Tax practice.
Maintain continuous interaction with clients, manage expectations and ensure outstanding client service—team with tax professionals to provide comprehensive tax solutions.
Represent the firm for assessments and tribunal appeals at the CIT/ITAT level.
Experience in domestic and international tax and transfer pricing.
Experience in litigation and advisory.
Experience in corporate laws, SEBI/FEMA regulation etc.
Research complex tax theories and positions and apply them to specific client needs.
Provide comprehensive knowledge and reviews of tax case laws and develop opinion papers.
Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.

Experience and

Education:

Lawyer/ CA + LLB from a known Law School with a strong academic track record
5-7 years  of post-qualification of relevant experience in international tax and cross-border transactions with a focus on practice development from the International Market
