Maintenance Assistant Manager

The Maintenance Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the Mechanical maintenance activities within the metal manufacturing plant. This role ensures the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all machine working systems, equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Staff supervision and coordination:
Assign and supervise daily maintenance tasks for staff, and assist in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and procedures.
Maintenance and repairs:
Schedule and perform routine preventative and emergency maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and oversee repairs to ensure timely completion.
Safety and compliance:
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and that staff are properly trained on procedures and safety protocols.

Collaboration:

Work with other departments to coordinate maintenance work with minimal disruption to operations and respond to guest or owner concerns.
Record and budget management:
Maintain maintenance records, manage inventory of supplies and parts, and assist in managing and tracking maintenance budgets.
Equipment and facility oversight:
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues and ensure they are in optimal condition.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Diploma.

Work Experience:

8 to 10 years or above of Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in the metal manufacturing sector.
