Role Description
This is a contract role for a Histopathology Lab Technician (MTA/BTA) based on-site in Funen, Denmark. Key responsibilities include operating laboratory equipment, performing histological tests, ensuring quality control measures, and adhering to safety standards. The role also involves assisting in the preparation and analysis of biological specimens, maintaining lab documentation, and troubleshooting equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency in results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform professional tissue processing: preparing, cutting, staining and mounting samples for microscopic examination.
- Operate and maintain microscopes and related lab equipment with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Support pathologists and scientists in diagnosing diseases and contributing to critical research projects.
- Ensure strict adherence to international lab safety, documentation and quality standards.
Candidate Profile:
- Education:
MTA/BTA or equivalent qualification in Medical Laboratory / Life Sciences.
- Experience:
Hands‑on work in histopathology / pathology labs, including tissue processing and staining.
- Language:
Good English is mandatory;
German is NOT required (training and communication in English).
- Personality:
Detail‑oriented, reliable, eager to learn, and motivated to build a career abroad.
