Job Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Core API Developer with 4+ years of professional experience and a strong focus on external service integrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs, integrating third-party services, and ensuring secure, high-performance communication between systems.

Key Responsibilities:

-Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using .NET Core.

-Integrate APIs with various external services such as payment gateways,

authentication providers, and third-party data sources.

-Implement service-to-service communication using industry-standard protocols

(REST, SOAP, gRPC).

-Ensure secure integration using OAuth2, JWT, API keys, and other security

mechanisms.

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement integration

requirements.

-Optimize integration processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.

-Monitor and maintain integrations with proactive error handling and logging.

-Write unit and integration tests for all developed services.

-Document APIs and integration workflows using Swagger/OpenAPI and internal

tools.

Technical Skills:

-Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Core/.NET 5+.

-Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs.

-Experience with external services integration (e.g., payment processors, SMS/email providers, identity providers, etc.).

-Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, API throttling, rate-limiting, and security best practices.

-Familiarity with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, and API testing/debugging.

-Experience with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and SQL databases (SQL

Server/MySQL/Postgre

SQL).

-Experience with asynchronous programming, error handling, and logging (e.g.,

Serilog, NLog).

-Working knowledge of TFS, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).

- Experience with Azure/AWS APIs, message queues (e.g., Rabbit

MQ, Kafka), or

Graph

QL.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

-4+ years of experience in .NET Core API development.

-Proven experience in integrating and managing multiple external services.

-Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

-Experience in microservices architecture.
