Planning, coordinating, and managing the movement and distribution of goods
Core Responsibilities
Transportation management, order fulfillment, route optimization, cost control, supply chain coordination, carrier selection, distribution network management
Scope
End-to-end supply chain (includes warehousing, transportation, and distribution)
Team Management
Oversees logistics staff, coordinates with transporters and suppliers
Technology Used
Transport management systems, shipment tracking, route optimization tools
Key Skills
Analytical thinking, negotiation, communication, strategic planning
Working knowledge of SAP S4 HANA
Performance Metrics
Delivery times, transportation costs, order accuracy, customer satisfaction
Compliance Focus
Regulatory compliance in transport, customs, and distribution
Customer Interaction
Handles logistics issues, delivery queries, and supplier coordination
Compensation:
