Key Accountabilities:

  • Conduct audits in accordance with the audit plan.
  • Monitor and control audit assistants to ensure tasks are completed within the allotted time.
  • Execute audit programs and collect appropriate evidence.
  • Prepare work papers, audit conclusions, and files according to the Unit’s standards.
  • Provide written input to the Senior Auditor for the audit report.
  • Participate in financial statement reviews, executing assigned areas per standards.
  • Write reports as required and assist the team with special assignments and investigations.
  • Assist in preparing the Internal Audit Plan and work with business owners to implement recommendations.
  • Maintain knowledge of IFRS updates and other developments related to Internal Audit.
  • Help prepare reports for the Audit Committee and management, and perform other duties as assigned.

    • Knowledge / Technical

    Skills:

  • Good time management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of International Auditing Standards.
  • Good understanding of accounting and auditing principles.

    • Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance.
  • Professional certification (CIA preferred).

    • Experience:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience.
