Overview Of The Role

We are looking for a Volvo Personal Service Technician (PST) to join our Retail Aftersales team in Oman. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service and repairs on customer vehicles, ensuring compliance with Volvo standards and processes. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction and workshop performance.

What You Will Do
  • Carry out dealership services and repairs within Volvo Standard Text (VST) time frames.
  • Communicate directly with customers to understand repair needs and provide clear explanations during handovers.
  • Plan and execute tasks using VIDA, CSC codes, and operation codes while following service schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with Volvo service processes, warranty policies, and safety standards.
  • Participate in daily team meetings, contribute to problem-solving, and help achieve sales and customer satisfaction targets.
  • Maintain accurate job cards, invoices, and documentation through VIDA and DMS systems.
  • Stay updated with technical information via TRIP, TIE, and Volvo Cars Performance Academy (VCPA).
Required Skills To Be Successful
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with diagnostic expertise.
  • Familiarity with workshop tools, equipment, and technical manuals.
  • Basic PC skills and ability to navigate Volvo systems (VIDA, VCPA, TRIP, TIE).

  • Internationally recognized automotive qualification or diploma (e.g., MIMI/City & Guilds equivalent).
  • Manufacturer Level 3 or above qualification (Gold Class preferred).
  • Proven ability to provide outstanding customer service and maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Problem‑solving mindset and commitment to delivering high‑quality service.
