Senior Structural Engineer
Overview
An international engineering consultancy with a strong reputation of delivering creative engineering has an immediate requirement for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Muscat, Oman.
The successful individual will play an integral part in the delivery of a number of large-scale building projects including healthcare, hospitality and mixed-use developments. You will be responsible for managing projects from a financial, design and technical perspective. This is client facing role which will involve effectively managing multiple stakeholders and coordinating with the local authorities and resolving any design or technical issues that may arise during the project.
The successful individual will contribute to the preparation of proposals and tenders and play an active role in business development and the operational performance of the office in Oman.
To be considered for this role you must have a BA/B.Sc. structural/civil engineering and 6+ years of experience. Strong technical skills, experience of running complex building projects from a technical and financial perspective, and a proven background in managing small teams, are essential. This position would suit a dynamic, client focused, personable and technically strong Structural Engineer with previous people, project and client management experience.
