Engineering Manager

Our EPC oil & gas client based in Muscat, Oman is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team and oversee their engineering projects.

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and ensuring the successful completion of all engineering projects. You will work closely with other departments, including design, construction, and project management, to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of engineers and provide guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development

- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of engineering projects

- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion

- Collaborate with other departments to develop project plans, budgets, and schedules

- Review and approve project designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and safety standards are being met

- Identify and address any potential risks or issues that may impact project timelines or budget

- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to ensure our company remains at the forefront of the market

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field

- Minimum of 10-15 years experience in EPC projects, specifically in a leadership role with ddelivery responsibilities.

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities

- In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, standards, and regulations

- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proficient in project management software and tools

- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
