Project Manager (Engineering/Technical)

- Responsible for the successful execution and delivery of technical work by the engineering disciplines / relevant subcontractors, ensuring project changes are communicated and implemented effectively.
- Resolves any engineering issues which have the potential to impede the achievement of project objectives.
- Oversee engineering disciplines to ensure that all project tasks and deliverables are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage project engineering changes and change requests, minimizing the impact on project objectives, and maximizing commercial output.
- Ensure that all emerging engineering issues are dealt with expediently to facilitate project execution with minimal disruption.
- Ensure that all engineering technical project documentation is released on time, in format, and is consistent with quality standards.
- Ensure that client queries are acted upon quickly, facilitating to minimize the impact on project objectives.
- Ensure all reporting is completed to required standards, and on time.
- Ensure that subcontractors deliver according to agreed schedule and scope.
- Manage emerging issues from subcontractors and manage changes with minimal disruption to overall project objectives.
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or any relevant fields.
- 3-6 years technical project management experience in waste water plants construction field.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple projects ranging from 3 months to 3 years in duration, project teams from 3 to 50 participants and project budgets from $25K to $3M.
- Knowledge and/or experience of Computer Systems Validation is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively to senior executives, both internally and externally.
