Your day involves providing fast and accurate support by analyzing and troubleshooting questions, offering solutions, and delivering reliable information to ensure user satisfaction. You will collaborate with users to address their needs, optimize communication, and provide timely, effective assistance across various topics.
How You Will Make An Impact- Provide timely engineering support for technical queries related to Siemens Energy heavy-duty gas turbines in Oman, assisting internal and external customers, including project managers, sales, and field service teams.
- Serve as the key regional point of contact for technical issues, including gas turbine commissioning, troubleshooting, performance tests, balancing, risk assessments, and root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with a global network of specialists and experts within Siemens Energy to address technical challenges related to gas turbines and balance‑of‑plant equipment.
- Support maintenance outages by defining scope, coordinating spare parts and tooling requirements, and assisting global cross‑functional teams during execution.
- Present and discuss technical solutions during internal and external meetings, and provide on‑site support at power plants when required, ensuring smooth outage execution.
- Promote a customer‑first approach and a zero‑harm safety culture by addressing customer needs, identifying lessons learned in post‑outage reviews, and prioritizing safe work practices in all activities.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or equivalent degrees in Mechanical Engineering or related fields.
- Fundamental understanding of Siemens Energy Gas Turbine technology.
- Basic knowledge of materials and their applications.
- Strong proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
- Effective collaboration and networking skills are essential for success in this role.
