• Bachelor’sor master’s degree in civil engineering.
• Minimumof 5 years of experience in highway design and construction projects.
• Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure projects such as highways,expressways.
• Strong knowledge of highway design standards and best practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant engineering software.

The Highway Design Engineer is responsible for the planning,design, and delivery of highway and roadway infrastructure projects. The role involves preparing detailed design and working drawings, supportingconstruction activities, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams toensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable highways standards.

• Developdetailed design and working drawings through projects stages.
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, plans, specifications, reports, and quantitytakeoff using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Designhorizontal and vertical alignments, junctions and roundabouts, grading,drainage systems, pavement structures, culverts, retaining walls, and traffic safety elements.
• Supportconstruction supervision activities, including responding to technicalqueries and reviewing contractor submissions.
• Coordinate with technical managers, civil and structural engineers, and other disciplines to ensure the compliance with applicable highways standards.
• Supervisedraftsmen to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence toproject requirements.
