• About the role
  :
• We are seeking Expressions of Interest for an experienced Design Manager to support a large-scale urban development and master planning project in Oman.

The role will be based in Oman for an anticipated duration of approximately 12 to 15 months and will play a key role in leading multidisciplinary design delivery, client engagement, and coordination with international design partners and local sub consultants.

This role is suited to a senior Design Manager with strong consultancy experience and the ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary design environments.

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams across master planning and infrastructure work streams
• Act as a primary interface with the client and key stakeholders
• Coordinate with international design partners and local sub consultants
• Manage design development in line with approved briefs, scope, programme, and budget
• Lead design reviews, stage gate approvals, and technical coordination
• Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and governance requirements
• Support procurement activities, including RFP and tender documentation
• Provide bid stage input and support transition into project delivery upon award

• Degree in architecture, engineering, planning, or a related discipline
• Extensive experience in design management within a consultancy or client-side environment
• Strong background in large-scale urban, township, or mixed-use developments
• Proven client-facing and stakeholder management capability
• Experience working across the GCC region
• Prior Oman experience is highly desirable
• Willingness to be based in Oman for the project duration
