Power BI Technical and Functional Consultant

- Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Perform data modeling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure the accuracy and usability of data
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Troubleshoot Power BI issues and provide solutions to optimize performance and user experience.
- Connect Power BI to various data sources, including SQL databases, cloud platforms, and APIs.
- Conduct end-user training sessions and create documentation for Power BI solutions
- Implement DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) calculations and advanced Power Query features.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Data Science, and Business Units, to deliver insights-driven solutions
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- A master's degree in data analysis or related line is a plus
- Microsoft Certified:
Power BI Data Analyst Associate (mandatory). PL-300 - Microsoft Certified:
Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate (Advanced). DP-500 - Microsoft Certified:
Power Platform Solution Architect Expert. PL-600 - Microsoft Certified:
Database Management. DP300 - Microsoft Certified:
Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals. SC-900 - CBIP
- Data Visualization specialist certification.
- SQL Certification
- DAX (Data analyses Expressions) Training.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in data analysis, visualization, and reporting
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Power BI platform development
- Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query
- Proficiency in integrating Power BI with various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, APIs, etc.).
- Excellent understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Strong knowledge of business intelligence tools and methodologies
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Skills:
- Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience in a consulting environment
