Responsibilities
As the Head of IT Infrastructure you will be responsible for planning, designing, and maintaining an optimal level of infrastructure performance and operation, managing infrastructure capacity, availability, and business continuity (including archiving, backup, and recovery), and considering the most recent technology trends to ensure Nawras keeps the highest standards in infrastructure and its related operation. You will also monitor all related systems and servers.
You will manage the operation of Nawras' IT infrastructure, operations, and maintenance of all IT infrastructure, establish procedures for daily operations, inventory management of hardware and software, and monitor and report on infrastructure operation and incidents.
- Preparing plans and budgets for infrastructure and its related systems and projects
- Preparing and distributing department weekly and monthly reports
- Planning company infrastructure capacity, availability, and BCP
- Motivating and supporting the infrastructure team for day‑to‑day activities
- Ensuring a balanced role distribution for all operational tasks per resource
- Negotiating supplier purchase, service, and maintenance agreements
- Coordinating closely with business stakeholders
- Coordinating closely with all vendors
- Ensuring that all SLAs are met and all KPIs are delivered
- Ensuring 24/7 support is available for issues related to the system and business‑critical requests
- Training new staff members
- Recommending enhancements to the existing systems
- Complying with and enforcing standard extensive policies and procedures
To apply for this role you should have 10+ years of working experience with a degree in IT or a related subject (MBA related to IT will be preferred) with at least 2–3 years in a managerial position in IT management at a mobile telephone company or a similar institution.
