Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Data Architect to design and implement scalable, high-performance data solutions. The role involves leading data architecture initiatives, overseeing system migrations to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and ensuring optimal data integration, governance, and quality across environments.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data requirements.
- Lead a technical team in planning and implementing cohesive data architecture solutions.
- Manage the migration of existing systems and applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Integrate OCI services with on-premises or multi-cloud environments.
- Analyze and translate business and data requirements into technical specifications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration workflows and resolve issues efficiently.
- Optimize ETL processes for high performance, scalability, and data integrity.
- Document ETL workflows and maintain comprehensive data transformation records.
- Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to ensure quality standards.
- Advise project teams on data technology usage, tools, and best practices.
- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative technical culture.
- Develop and maintain reusable data architecture patterns, frameworks, and tools.
- Oversee critical steps in the software development life cycle.
- Ensure end-to-end integrity and alignment of technical data solutions with architectural standards.
- Contribute to agile development practices in distributed team environments.
- 8+ years of relevant professional experience in data architecture or related fields.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Proven experience using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data integration best practices.
- Experience in OLAP, OLTP, Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse, and Data Mart design.
- Strong skills in SQL and relational database development.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of Data Governance principles (Data Catalog, Data Lineage).
- Experience in high-volume data environments and performance tuning in ODI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
