Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Transformation Projects Manager – Oil & Gas to lead digital transformation, project control systems, and data‑driven performance management initiatives. The role focuses on implementing project management systems, cost and schedule controls, analytics dashboards, and process automation to enable real‑time decision‑making for senior leadership across large‑scale Oil & Gas projects in Oman.
🎯Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Project Management systems, dashboards, and reporting tools to communicate real‑time cost and schedule performance
- Develop standardized cost and schedule reporting frameworks to support data‑driven management decisions
- Train planning teams, QS teams, and stakeholders on effective planning and control techniques such as Earned Value, cost & schedule variance, EAC, and critical path analysis
- Perform trend analysis to evaluate project performance, identify risks, validate forecasts, and report insights to stakeholders
- Conduct data modeling, deep data analysis, and detailed assessments during need identification phases
- Organize and present analytical insights to management for process mapping and transformation initiatives
- Carry out periodic reviews of KPIs, productivity indicators, performance metrics, and business unit success measures
- Develop training materials, workshops, and hand holding sessions to ensure effective adoption of digitalization initiatives
- Lead process digitalization and automation initiatives across projects
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- 10+ years of overall professional experience with 5+ years in a relevant leadership role
- Proven experience in ERP or equivalent Project Management system implementations
- Strong expertise in Database Management, BI & Analytics tools
- Hands‑on experience with Primavera P6, SAP, SQL, Power BI or similar systems
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and project visualization skills
