Omani citizen Opportunity – Supply Chain Manager | Muscat, Oman

We are pleased to announce an exciting career opportunity for an Omani to join our client in the Oil and Gas sector as a Supply Chain Manager on a two-year contract
. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who can drive supply chain excellence, ensure compliance, and strengthen operational efficiency across the business.

Role Highlights

In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the full supply chain lifecycle. You will develop strategies that enable operational continuity, efficiency, and value creation. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will provide direction to procurement, logistics, warehouse, and supplier management teams to meet business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • ✔ Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of all supply chain activities
  • ✔ Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and service agreements
  • ✔ Ensure policies, procedures, compliance standards, and safety requirements are upheld
  • ✔ Implement continuous improvement, cost optimization, and risk mitigation initiatives
  • ✔ Support project execution through effective materials availability and inventory control
  • ✔ Identify operational gaps, recommend solutions, and enable best practices
  • ✔ Mentor and develop the supply chain team to enhance capability and performance
  • ✔ Report supply chain performance insights to management and support decision-making
Key Requirements
  • 🔹
    Omani nationality is mandatory
  • 🔹 Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
    , including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity
  • 🔹 Strong command of Arabic and English
    , written and spoken
  • 🔹 Previous exposure to the Oil & Gas sector is highly preferred
  • 🔹 Demonstrated ability in negotiation, analytical decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving
  • 🔹 Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement tools is desirable
