• Position: Health Care Assistant
• Location: Duncan / Ladysmith Area
• Compensation: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
• Shifts: Mornings, Evenings, Nights & Weekends.

• Providing compassionate care to clients in their home setting.
• Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Medication management.
• Preparing meals and ensuring proper nutrition.
• Assisting with light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' health and well-being.
• Companionship and engaging in meaningful activities with client.

• Valid and up-to-date Health Care Assistant license or equivalent.
• A clear criminal background and vulnerable sector check.
• Reliable Transportation to work.
• Valid completion of OFA First Aid Level 1 course.
• Valid completion of FOODSAFE Level 1 or equivalent.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Previous caregiving experience.
• Valid certifications or training in caregiving, personal support work, or related fields.
• Valid BC driver's license.
