As a Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments, responsible for monitoring the entrance, managing contractor access, mantaining accurate sign-in/sign-out records, providing professional meet-and greet engagement with employee and visitiors, and other related duties.

• Hourly wage of $20
• We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through Garda World Academy
• Full time / Monday to Thursday from 22:00 to 07:00 ( overnight )

• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid BC security license
• First aid certification - an asset
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
