You will primarily operate a forklift to load and unload goods of all sizes and weights. Occasional manual lifting is required, with the ability to handle up to 75 lb loads.
50% Forklift Operator / 50% Admin work.
perform basic computer functions such as answer emails, print paperwork, enter information in Truck Mate (training will be provided for Truck Mate)
Must-Haves: A valid forklift license and established experience in a loading/unloading environment are non-negotiable.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 4am – 12pm
$23/h

Responsibilities
Responsabilities of the forklift driver:
- Loading and unloading:
Handling freight in and out of trailers. Products come in a variety of shapes and sizes.
- Forklift operation:
Perform 75% of tasks using a forklift. Must have a valid license and previous experience in LTL loading and unloading.
- Manual handling:
Perform 25% of lifting tasks, with the ability to regularly lift weights of 50 to 75 pounds (approximately 23 to 34 kg).
- Perform basic computer functions such as answer emails, print paperwork, enter information in Truck Mate (training will be provided for Truck Mate)
- Safety:
Maintain a safe work environment and cooperate with the team. Compliance with safety rules is paramount.
Qualifications
-The forklift driver must :
- have a valid external forklift license
- have previous experience in LTL loading and unloading
- be able to lift 75 pounds
- hazardous goods certification (an asset)
