Principle Software Engineer; On-site

Our client is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to support the development and sustainment of a Paperless Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and its supporting databases. This role will develop software solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, automate data collection, and support continuous improvement. Design, develop, and support Oracle databases using SQL and PL/SQL. Develop and maintain web applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Create and execute verification test plans for completed projects. Collaborate with team members and end users to develop solutions to complex technical challenges. Design tools that help users work more efficiently and meet compliance requirements. Develop and implement automated data collection software. Maintain detailed documentation of software changes and test plans. Follow software development lifecycle practices, coding standards, and configuration management procedures.

Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives with MES database users.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Four to seven years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience with Java, JavaScript, ExtJS, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, and C#.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, coding standards, and standard configuration management tools.
• Ability to collaborate closely with technical teams and end users.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing execution systems and their use in manufacturing operations.

Pay Range: $64.00 - $69.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
