Building Surveyor

Base pay range

Building Surveyor - Permanent, Full-Time role available. This is an exciting time for change in Tai Tarian with our vision to provide sustainable homes, develop sustainable communities and drive change for a sustainable planet. A successful Building Surveyor will be integral in helping us to achieve this vision.

This role is permanent with a starting salary of £38,656 per annum, rising to £41,777 per annum after key competencies of the role are met. As we expand to meet demand there are opportunities for career growth in many technical and management directions so there is room for you to forge your perfect job.

• Ability to demonstrate current retrofit knowledge and solutions (PAS
  2035)
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in identifying and remediating building defects. In particular, issues around DMC.
• Educated to degree standard or relevant experience.

• Advising on technical matters associated with the Tai Tarian property portfolio including technical, environmental, health and safety issues of buildings.
• Providing comprehensive reports in relation to surveys with clear diagnosis of root cause problems and remedial actions required.
• Advising on retrofit fabric improvement works, energy efficiency, environmental impact, and sustainable construction.
• Working towards our aim to achieve carbon neutrality for all properties.
