About Wellnite Wellnite is a fast-growing digital mental health platform providing therapy and behavioral health services across the United States. We work with licensed clinicians and major insurance payers to make high-quality mental health care accessible and efficient.
We are looking for an experienced  U.S. Health Insurance Biller  who understands the full billing lifecycle for  mental and behavioral health claims  and can independently manage claims, follow-ups, and payer communication.

Key Responsibilities  Submit and manage professional claims using  CMS-1500
Work daily inside  Claim.

MD  (claim submission, tracking, rejection analysis)
Bill and follow up on  mental health CPT codes  (e.g., 90791, 90832–90838, 90846–90847, 99202–99215 when applicable)
Understand and apply correct  ICD-10  diagnosis codes for behavioral health
Identify, resolve, and appeal  denials  and rejections
Track claim status, EOBs, and payment posting
Communicate with insurance payers (Optum, BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Carelon, etc.)
Maintain accurate billing documentation and internal reports
Collaborate with credentialing, provider support, and operations teams

✅ Required Qualifications   2+ years of U.S. health insurance billing experience
Strong hands-on experience with  Claim.

MD
Solid understanding of  mental health / behavioral health billing
Deep knowledge of  CMS-1500  forms and workflows
Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and modifier usage
Experience working denials, resubmissions, and appeals
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Ability to work  U.S. business hours

Familiarity with payer-specific behavioral health rules

Experience with eligibility verification and benefits interpretation
Background in scaling or startup healthcare environments
