We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician - Mechanical for a 12 month contract based in Barnoldswick on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.

We are looking for a Manufacturing Technician - Mechanical for a 12 month contract based in Barnoldswick on behalf of our globally respected client who develop cutting-edge technologies that deliver clean, safe and competitive solutions to meet the planet's vital power needs.
Role responsibilities of a Manufacturing Technician:
Perform proactive and reactive maintenance across a wide range of machinery, tools, and production equipment.
Support manufacturing activities including mechanical and electrical work on civil aerospace fan blade production.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Team to deliver strategic goals and share technical expertise.
Carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs on assets including CNC machines, test rigs, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Complete installations and electrical maintenance on production and experimental facilities.
Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to guide maintenance efforts.
Uphold high standards of health and safety, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Key skills and experience required:
Time-served apprenticeship and Level 3 qualification (or equivalent qualifications).
* Hands-on maintenance experience in aerospace, automotive or similar sectors.
Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines-experience with PLCs, inverters, control panels, wiring.
Solid understanding of CNC controls and precision tooling systems.
Effective communication skills.

It is essential for this role that all candidates have completed a Level 3 qualification and have an apprenticeship completion document (or equivalent qualifications).
