Account Executive

Job Summary:

The Account Executive is responsible for maintaining financial records, handling day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the finance team in smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain books of accounts, including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers
Prepare and record invoices, receipts, payments, and bank entries
Handle bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Ensure timely GST compliance (returns, reconciliation, data preparation)
Support TDS calculation, deduction, and filing
Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements
Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments
Monitor expenses and ensure cost control
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Required Skills &

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field
Knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliances
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, etc)
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and communication skills

Experience:

1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
